Though this deer was killed in Md, its definitly getting its picture shown here.  This gaint was killed by Bill Crutchfield, Jr. of Charles County, Maryland the opening day of there 06 deer season.  He watched this deer for over 2 hours before getting a chance for a shot.  With 1 single shot, he dropped this brute!  26 scorable points (13 per side) and a preliminary score of 268 5/8 inches. The deer, which weighed 150 pounds field-dressed, had a 22-inch inside spread and 25-inch main beams with more than 5 inches of circumference mass along each beam.  Crutchfield’s monster will likely eclipse the current Maryland non-typical record by an astounding 40 inches. And get this: It might turn out to be the number one non-typical buck ever taken on the entire East Coast. It should rank among the top 20 all-time largest non-typical deer in the world.  Most of us dream at getting a chance to even see something like this.  So congrats to Bill on taking this FINE trophy!

Another out of state record book buck.  This is the Amish Buck of Adams Count Ohio.  This deer was taken with a crossbow by John Schmucker on 9/30/06.  It grossed 305B&C but netted 298 7/8ths taking 2nd on Ohio's NT list!  But this deer ranks 4th in the world!  The world record scores 333 7/8(Missouri Monarch) and was found dead near St. Louis, Missouri, in 1981; the No. 2 non-typical is the 328 2/8-inch "Hole in the Horn" buck, which was found dead in Ohio in 1940.
